We love getting to travel for weddings that we photograph. There's something just magical about seeing a new place, meeting a ton of new people, and stepping into our couple's lives for a few days. AND we get to capture it. We always leave refreshed, rejuvenated and MASSIVELY wanting to redecorate our house. Traveling will do that to ya, huh? And THIS wedding we are sharing here with you today was even MORE special than usual. Why, you ask? Because it was my (Jess's) COUSIN'S WEDDING.
We were asked by my cousin, who has long followed us and loved our work, to photograph her amazing wedding day in Georgia. So a few days after Christmas, we packed up our camera gear and even our kids, and headed east to witness Bence + Sharayah begin their lives together. It was an amazing trip. Photographing a family members wedding was SO fun. We hardly felt like we were working and were so embraced by all of their friends during our time there. We had complete freedom to be artists and to enjoy the day as well.
And boy did we ever! You don't have to know Bence + Sharayah very long to know and realize that they are a VERY special couple. Together, they are such a blessing to everyone they meet. Their relationship isn't centered around themselves, but around their faith. They are a breath of fresh air and truly inspiring. I think you'll see what I mean. Check out their glorious, beautiful wedding day in Georgia!
